I am contemplating whether or not to get mobile video in my TL. i'd like to get opinion's on it's pro's and con's from all of the owner's that have mobile video in their ride.

hey 96TL, i really like the Giovanna Corsicas on your ride. you finally got ahold of that digital camera huh?? i've got the same color car as you and i'm getting the Giovanna Corsicas in chrome this week. i'll post some pics as soon as i put them on. is your car lowered?? if so what kind of suspension do you have?? do the Giovanna's rub at all?? how much did you pay for them?? sorry for all the questions. So none of you guys would recommend getting a tv in the car??

TVs are pointless...besides, you could cause an accident when you're driving and watching TV at the same time (as all people with TVs in there car do). Think about what you could spend that money on in the future! Come on now...you could really use that money for something important later on down the road.
(you have to read this post in an EXTREMELY sarcastic tone to get the full effect )

I say go for it. Over the next couple years, I will be doing a lot more driving with family in the car taking trips to LA, LV, Reno, etc... It will be useful for those trips.
Now.. all I need is the $$ to get this installed.

I think monitors in cars are pretty showy but also can be useful if used properly.
You can hook up DVD, or a video game... I bet one of these days, someone is gonna hook up DirecTV on it.
