Is there anyway to improve the reception of the radio because sometimes my reception sucks the stations fade in and out

 

Unfortunately, the antenna is incorporated into the rear window, so there is very little you could do regarding upgrading your antenna. You can, however, buy a signal booster that will run inline between the antenna plug and the radio plug. Thy cost about $30 and will require removing the radio to properly install.

 

True, but I have found that antenna boosters while they improve reception also increase noise. This is more noticable on factory head units.

dhiren is right, the boosters DO increase background noise quite a bit.
