Minimal upgrades to stock system

I really like my TL-S, but I am not very happy with the stereo. There is no well-defined low or high range (Bose is famous for only having a strong midrange). I know that even in my Celica with nothing but an Alpine head unit and 12" subwoofer w/ Phoenix Gold amp, it gets a much cleaner sound overall (may be due to the fact that the stock system includes tweeters). Anyway, I'm not looking to replace the head unit or do any heavy duty audio work on the car since it is a lease. I know I can add some more low-range by replacing the subwoofer, and I know everyone hates self-amplified subs, but I think I'm just going to end up with one anyway. But is there any way for me to add some more high end sound to the car? I mean, is there any way to put in tweeters so that I can easily take them out at the end of the lease and restore everything back to stock condition?

Yeah, I was actually planning on getting a Basslink. What I'd really like to know about are some inexpensive ways to add some higher-range stuff (tweeters) to help increase clarity of vocals and certain instruments. Is there any way I can get these installed without having to cut holes in my doors and do them custom?

i think the easiest way to add highs to your system will require replacing ur front door speaker w/ a two way speaker that includes a tweet. the reason being that there is no place to put a tweet behind the door w/out taking drastic measures. believe me, cause i looked and tried and scratched my head, picked my brain looking for a suitable spot w/out cutting...but this is what i ended up doing... http://www.dreamwater.org/systek/acuratls/DVDHACK3.html

I replaced my Bose Spekears w:

Pioneer A6995s 6x9s in Rear &
604 Preimers in Front 6.5 w / 1in. Titanium Tweeters.

It sounds Very Nice!

I'm looking at getting a basslink to for a little added bass. Think that will complete my audio picuture.
