Mids and Highs in 6x9

I just swapped out my rear 6x9 with a pair of Kappas from my Prelude into my TSX. They are 3 way speakers and it appears the setup was for only lows. I was wondering how to tinker with it so that I get mids and high. Wonder if the "amp" has any knobs or buttons to adjust output. Obvious way would be splicing into the rear door speakers but i dont want to do that since it will drop the impedence in half.

I also am trying to change all the other speakers. My problem is how I am going to power 6 channels of mid/high. Don't see too many 6 channel amps. May have to power the front and rear 6x9s on one amp (JL 300/1) the rear door off the factory (prob will be drowned out?) and my boston subs with my JL 500/1.

Anyone here running 8 speakers + sub or did you just get rid of the 6x9s and replaced with sub?

having highs in the back parcel shelf is going to sound bad, it'll ruin the imaging and pull the soundstage too far back.
