Ok this is the deal i orderd my fosgate amp but the seller never ended up shipping, so im like fuck it. So I dedcided yesterday that ill go to a shop and i ended up buying a memphis m-class 1000d amplifier, but is it any good, especially if fucking paid 679 bucks for it. BTW i think i got ripped off but hopefully the amp is good?

Is this amp gonna give off an eqaul amount of power to my 2ohm L7's as the rockford fosgate 1500bd

For subs, it's fine. It's pretty dirty as far as distortion goes, but you shouldn't notice much difference. It's fairly powerful.

 

so i went with the memphis, hopefully it will bump

 

i heard memphis audio stuff sucks balls, esp if you're aiming for SQ... but i guess if you want it to juss "bump" then you should be fine

The Memphis isn't a bad amp, it's just kinda dirty SQ wise. For subs tho, it'll be fine - and might actually sound better.

 

like i said earlier, fer SQ, don't even bother w/ Memphis... but if all you want is a lil bump in the trunk, and you're happy with it, then thas all that matters

ebay is your best bet
go for the dynamat xtreme bulk pack

 

Remember to also roll the Dynamat, helps it adhere better.

but with a stock headunit, doesn't that mean you have no real control over the bass? im not tryin to knock you or anything, it's juss that i had stock headunit and subs and it was a lil too much bass fer me and i couldn't turn it down... i guess im juss wondering how you're dealing with it cuz you have two pretty powerful subs

 

yea it is prety loud sometimes, i juss turn it down on the stock bass control and its fine, BTW I am only running it 2 notches above middle on the stock bass control

those memphis amps bump, but audio is right. the one heard really distorted loudly on peak levels. i think they are only 1 ohm monos. dunno though. whenever you run at such a low capacity you risk that though.

edit: when i say some people audio, i meant it towards the built in cap junkie. not you.
