TSX: Looking to upgrade my system in my 2004 TSX. Am I doing it right?
Looking to upgrade my system in my 2004 TSX. Am I doing it right?
Greetings! I just picked up a 2004 TSX a couple weeks ago and I was looking to upgrade the system. The only problem is I've never installed a system where I wasn't able to swap out to an aftermarket deck. Here's what I'm looking at so far:
Deck>8 Channel Line Output Converter(before the oem amp)>EQ>6 Channel amp/Monoblock>2 6.5 components/2 6.5 Coaxials/2 6x9 Coaxials/2 10's
It's gonna be a while before I get around to the install but is there anything I'm missing here? Any wisdom you can impart? I also wanted to double check that there's no aftermarket bezels to get a double din in there like on the 8th gen Civics?

Sorry, I can't seem to find the edit button but I was also wondering if anyone knows how to get the lights back on in the stereo/hvac buttons(part #'s, where the faulty circuit board is located etc.)? I talked to the dealership and even though online it's considered to be a common problem they've told me that they've never heard of it and that I should bring it in for diagnostics.
