Is it possible to get more quality sound without replacing the factory stereo (bose/acura).

This subject has been a hot bed of activity lately. Read some of the recent threads(speakers,EQ bypass revisited), and many others. You will find there are a few different options depending on how much money/time you want to spend on it.

Heh it's been a hot bed for years bud . Lord knows what would turn up with search enabled...I know I answered this Q hundreds of times before I got banned.

If you don't want to replace the stock stereo then your only option for SoundQ is new speakers and a new aftermarket amp. Some say you can send more power to your stock speakers with a new amp and leave everything else alone...but that won't help with SQ. You need to get a new setup. Granted, there are a lot of options...ranging from maybe $300 to about $1200 for just the front speakers and amp...but any good upgrade will help.

I just want a little more sound to listen to.
What is your opnion on adding a 10" bazooka tub with a built in AMP?
