Kill switch

I bought a car alarm that is essentially a kill switch. I need to cut two wires under the hood that would, when cut, stop the car from starting. I was thinking the starter and ignition wire. I did a search and saw a few stickies that describe the location and colour of each wire. The starter wire is black/white and the ignition is black/yellow.

-should i use the starter and ignition wire?
-where are they located?

I have no manual so i'm lost under there...i really need a visual. Thanks in advance.

all you have to cut is the starter wire. and if your also talking about installing the kill switch u want to connect one end to the black/white wire coming from the remote start brain and the other side to ground.

I don't have a remote start. I'm putting in a security system which is essentially a kill switch. I'm going to be cutting 2 wires under the hood and if the little device i have on my keychain isn't hooked up, the car doesn't start. The company has a 100% success rate...has never had a vehicle stolen with their device hooked up.
