I just upgraded my front speakers to pioneer TS-A1671R. Im kind of dissapointed because i could barely tell the difference between these speakers and my stock speakers. My head unit is a pioneer DEH P6500. Was there some sort of stock amp that i was supposed to bypass?

 

I'm guessing you have a 2nd Gen TL?

Well the stock amp was removed with the headunit. Having an aftermarket amp to drive the speakers instead of using the headunit will probably make a difference.
