thats awesome man. ive really been debating on whether to use a blitzsafe and install my alpine 6 disc mp3 changer or put in my headunit with it. its good to know that the blitzsafe has outstanding quality if we choose to go with it.

I got it from logjam electronics It was 69.99 I also just bought a tune dok and it works pretty good i guess? but the blitzsafe adapter is great I ran the wire through the middle of the console where that little pocket is and it has that piece of plastic that comes off. theres a hole so I didn't have to drill anything!! sorry if that sounds confusing.

Sweet! So when you want to switch your head unit to listen to the MP3 player....do you just hit the mode button on your steering wheel until it goes to aux? Is this for a 2004 / nav?

I have a 2004/nav, can I do this set up?

Do you use a speaker phone to RCA converter to plug into the ipod? I see the Blitzsafe accepts only RCA inputs...
