Just finished my XM Commander install...

Hey everyone i just finished my xm commander install and it is sweet. the dealer was impressed he thinks it looks completely factory. ill post pics later tongiht or tomorrow. also got rid of all engin noise with using the fm mod. simple tip......rap an extra piece of like 14 gauge wire around the antenna plug going into the mod and the ground the other end to where ever it is convienient. NO MORE NOISE!! The fm actually sounds alright now

Where did you put the XM module? Did you do the install yourself or have someone else do it? Also, where did you place your antenna?

i installed the module in the pocket right underneath the nav screen and put the antenna on the dash in the drivers side window. u barely see it and reception is great. i did it myself and will be posting pics tongiht

Where did you buy the XM Commander from and how much was it? I've had enough of the radio stations here in town and will be getting the Commander soon.

bought the unit on ebay for 88 bucks and it was sealed new. pics coming tongiht
