What are you connecting those screen to? DVD ?

I've been looking around for 5.6" but if the cost isn't much more...

And Austin, if you're getting '7" WIDESCREEN raw modules' at less than $217 a piece, than I need to hook up with your supplier. What brand? Whats the resolution?

Depends on the stuff you're talking about...with some things I pay as much as the other guy.

I can get XO Vision, Farenheit, and Nesavision for around that price tag. Some of the other stuff is just marked up too much by the manufacturer (can we say Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Kenwood....).

Quite a while back, months, there was a place that was selling large LARGE amounts of 6.8" raw modules with inverters for $150...I unfortunately didn't buy any and now they're out...oh well. By the way, I didn't mean to sound like you were overcharging for the LCD's StreetEffectz...although you do have to make your profit....I just meant DAMN mainstream markets are pricey these days...

No no, NO offense taken, I was just curious as to the brands we were talking about here, that's all. I also get Fareheit and Nesa at AWESOME prices, but rarely ever use them because of poor picture quality when stacked against Accele, Icon, Pioneer, Rosen, Sharp, etc etc.

You prefer Accele over Nesavision??? Oh and I know what you mean about Sharp...I'm getting a screen from them for the one in the dash...about 9", but only $200 (used to be a computer screen...comes with inverter)...

Accele BLOW Nesavision away, hands down. Don't forget, I'm HUGE into video, and I have personally tested most every brand on the market. Nesa's picture quality cannot compare to Accele. Not when I tested them out anyway. Maybe they have changed their technology over the past couple months, but when I tried them out, they just didn't work out.

Yes, sharp is, and will remain, one of the best picture on the market. I don't know what it is they do differently, but their quality is superb.

I will keep that in mind...I'm hardcore into video too, just not mobile And I haven't tested every brand on the market either However if you need a computer...I'm your guru. Hmm...I will have to call NESAVision for a sample screen to see what they're like. XO Vision is surprisingly good for such a cheap screen. I was able to comfortably play Quake 3 at full resolution on a 5.6" model of their screens...and for $120 for that one...it's not bad...the frame isn't much to look at but well I'll be removing those anyway. I doubt NESAVision has changed their technology either...and yeah, Sharp will always be good on LCD, the fact that half the large electronics companies outsource to them may be an indicator

LOL, a love connection, good one!

Yeah, get a sample from Nesa, you'll see what I mean. There ARE, however, inexpensive screens that do have decent resolution. Test them out to get a feel for everything. It's MUCH easier to recommend screens to different customers depending on what they want, and, of course, their budget.

Sharp has always kicked ass. These were the FIRST screens I EVER owned....4 inch screens too! LOL....
