Ipod Video and Audio out

I was wondering if this could be used to integrate an ipod with this unit in the TSX navi system. It has audio and video out. If it is possible, what would I need and would I have control through the steering wheel?

I have seen the integration from this thread with DLO and I'm guessing this is similar.

My only concern, since that looks like an off-brand, is the SQ. I know some of the "cheaper" docks have lower quality audio (and possibly video?).

I don't have a DICE and can't speak from experience, but it seems to be the choice on these boards, and there is probably a reason.

If the SQ is good though than this paired with DOMs unit may work great. I do doubt there is any steering wheel controls though.

Well, the DICE kit with the video cradle will do it, but you're gonna need a video tap to your navi screen.

i bought my ipod right before the iphones came out. Is there a way to check version or something to ensure compatability?

Nick, not sure if you're a sales guy or get any commission or anything, but if you want an easy sale gimme a call 510-299-6892

thanks, sal

It sounds like you have a 5th gen iPod. If you bought it before the iPhone was released it's not the new version. Which is good! So.... the DICE i-Honda-R4-gen2 kit with the video cradle will give you a video signal. Getting the video signal to your nav screen is easy but will require a unit such as this.....

FYI... Acurazine members have special pricing on all DICE products. Check it out!

Yes, he'll have a 5.5 Gen iPod, so the kit will work fine.
