I have a 03 A-Spec and looking to get a ipod interface connector for the stock deck i called a stereo shop looking for the USA-Spec PA11HON and the guy said this is not compatible with the 6 disc indash changer i wanted to know if this is true before i go ahead and buy it online

 

I just installed the USA Spec PA11HON in my 02 TL-S and it works fine with the stock deck with the built-in 6disc. Works great overall, but if ur using with the Iphone 3GS like i am, it will warn u that its not a supported accessory, but everything still works from the radio controls, iphone and the steering wheel controls. Plus it charges it too. Mines came with the updated ipod/iphone cable that supports the newer ipods and iphones (look on crutchfield to see what im talking about). I have the iphone in the center upper storage box (armrest) out of sight. When the OS 3.1 comes out, i can can Voice control most of the iphone from my bluetooth headset so im happy.

Does it Charge the Iphone 3G(S) and new Ipods? I was looking at Crutchfield and it say u need another accessory [Scosche passPORT (142IFWA)] to charge the newer Ipod/Iphones, is that still true?

Maybe its a different one, just wondering.

 

My ISimple came with the 5 volt cord that works with the new Ipods.Nothing further was needed to charge my wifes new Nano.
