ipod interface

i recently bought a alpine iva d300 and a ipod and was curious on how it works together. Someone told me that i just need to buy a cable then they will work together. But one main thing i am curious about is when i plug it into the dvd player will my songs show up on my indash screen or do i still have to play the songs through the ipod

If you get this interface thing (http://www.alpine-usa.com/products/l...h_kca-420i.htm) you can control the iPod and see the songs from the deck.

You gotta pay to play

Alpine makes good stuff though, I'm sure you will be happy with it.

Once you get the ipod up and running you can throw that 6 disc changer up on eBay.
