Ipod hookup without FM transmitter

I been reading about the Icelink and MP3yourcar sites about these hookups to the back of the factory radio. I have a 2001 CL-S with Navi, does anyone know which product works the best with my setup. I have an IPOD Mini, and want to have better quality than a FM transmitter. Please someone give me some help, I can't get a straight answer.

There's so many options out there.. I don't think any one person has been through all of them to say one is better then the other.. Well except for Fuzzy. I think he's tried many of them..

Ha, well if Fuzzy can give me some input, that would be great. But I am not assuming someone will know all the answers. I just want to know if there is any particular one that is compatible with my car with NAVI. Go Steelers, I am from the Burg too!!!

Depends on your radio. Some work better then others. Pick 1 & try it. No luck send it back, pick another & try that one. The ones fron Dension are the better ones that give full control.

Which one do you like/recommend?

Have you tried the USA-Spec Adapter?

I have been reading about the Dension ones, The Ice Link Plus that is suppose to be coming out now is suppose to have video also.. Do you know if this is true? I got the part in my trunk to get DVD on my navi, I was hoping to run a video feed to the trunk by an RCA jack and then plug the other part into the Radio.. Is there any part out there like this?

Will I still be able to use the steering wheel controls. Thats a big option that I would like. I also have navigation. Is there something plugged into my 2001 CL-S radio if I have Navi... Will the blitz work without a problem.. I am lost

I believe as Fuzzy said above that the Dension allows you to keep the steering wheel controls..

Haven't found 1 that has worked in my car yet so I have no preference. The USA Spec one isn't made for the CLS.
