I've been reading great things about the ice link and mp3yourcar ipod connections. I have a 2001 CL with nav and really want some sort of fancy thing so I can play my ipod in the car and have the ability to use the controls from the steering wheel/dash and have the car provide power to the ipod as well. Here's the problem - I know nothing about cars... I'm a chick, what do you expect?
Anyway, what's the best way to go about finding something/getting it installed at a somewhat reasonable price? Any info would be awesome because I have no idea where to even start...

i am in a similar situation. I have the controller from the mp3yourcar site. it works pretty good, but a little quirky. I heard the icelink works better with navi, but on back order. the mp3yourcar does not always start right away and it takes 5 sec to change bands on the radio. It also takes a long time for the radio to recgonise the controller. I am trying to find out if it is worth waiting for the ice link.

As far as install goes, it takes about 2 hours for someone with no experience, but is relatively easy with the posted DIY. It is a bunch of screws. Then you have to clip the controller wire to the back of the radio. If you don't feel comfortable you can have it installed at a place like best buy or a chain stereo store (al and eds)
