Question Ipod Adapter for CLs

Has anyone installed an I-HONDA-R2 Ipod adapter to the CL's factory radio? This kit is made by Dice Electronics & can be found here: www.iCarKits.com

If yes, how difficult is it to get to the back of the factory radio to install the wires? Does the console have to be removed in order to reach the back?

After installation, how did the music sound? Is it as good as the manufacturer claimed to be?

I would appreciate some feedback if anyone has installed one of this kit.

Yes, search for my posts on it. Either works or doesn't. Read the posts & you will understand.
There's also an ipod install DIY in the audio FAQ at the top of the forum.

I don't think that the DICE iPod adapter is worth the money. You can do a Blitzsafe piece for half the price and it actually integrates better. Blitzsafe is a bigger company and has done way more research than DICE. I actually was set on the DICE for my 2007 Accord. But after spending a little bit to research, I decided on the Blitzsafe iPod adapter. I also have one in my TL. It's been awesome.

I've looked into Blitzsafe & the unit shown has 2 RCA jacks on one end. The other end is the Ipod adapter plug. Pardon me for being ignorant but how can you hard wire the 2 RCA jacks into the back of the factory radio? Am I missing something?

You are missing something.

The Blitzsafe adapter has a changer plug coming out of it that plugs into the back of your deck. In this picture it's the yellow cord with the gray plug. It's a generic picture but it's similar to our TL/CL adapter. Out changer plug is blue. The RCA plugs are for an additional input.

I took this picture from Logjamelectronics.com. Their prices are good and their service is awesome. I highly recommend them.
