installation in NJ

hey guys,
how many of you replaced your own speakers?
i've done it with my friend on my old nissan.... but
have not tried it on our 2.3cl.

how hard is it to get to the front tweeters on the corners of the dash? do i have to remove the dash?

otherwise, who is reputable to install the new speakers for me?
we had a great best buy back in michigan.... did great work. but here in jersey, i can't seem to find anyone trustworthy.

let me know fellas! i'd like to upgrade my fiance's 2.3cl's stereo.... for now, just upgrading speakers, & adding an amp to the stock headunit.

thanks!

hey, thanks guys.
i'm actually up in Jersey City... and i'm a bit hesitant with
the local shops at the moment.

i actually have used Auto Image in East Brunswick in the past with alarm installation and tint removal.
those guys are pretty good, very professional in my experience.

have you had experience with these other shops???

any Best Buys or Circuit Citys around northern jersey that we can trust????

I never went to a place like that, i personally think that car audio shops have the best install. Not saying to stay away from best buy or circuit city, but I think taking a ride to find someone that does a good job and has been specializing only in car audio install is def worth it.

u got the right idea for not going to any of the local shops in JC. lived there for almost 30 years...they all suck. that goes for north bergen, bayonne and union city. if u hang around them long enough u can actually see the installers do rounds from one shop to the other as soon as they get fired from one.
