***UPDATE*** RGB1 (navi to video converter) NOW AVAILABLE!!!!!

WE have these kits for $500 plus shipping.....READY TO INSTALL or you can have them installed here (we will charge $250 to install the piece). This is not the pioneer piece, it's a new piece that's been installed and tested and hooks up the same way the avc-rgb1 does. If interested, call us at 732-388-7000 or email info@streeteffectz.com.

Hmmmm.....
What does the kit include Street? Both video and audio? If audio, how? Are going to run a monopoly on the kit or are you going to tell us how you did it? Inquiring minds want to know

Audio will still need to be done through an RF modulator for now. The kit was molded off the avc-rgb1. It's very close the the same board. An electrical engineer designed it and manufactured them.

Also, this kit includes all necessary wiring, and an RF modulator with installation instructions.

One feature that is does have over the pioneer piece is that it is fully adjustable. Meaning, you can adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue for an even better picture.

Depends on the headunit, alot of them have inputs for auxiliary sources now, or cd changer adapters to do the same thing.

IT's the decoder, rf modultor for sound, all wiring and connectors necessary to hook it up, switches, etc...the decoder is already modified and ready to install also, and comes with instructions (same as the pioneer piece).

You also can adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue...something the rgb1 WAS NOT capable of.

more than likely you will need a tv tuner to watch tv... the $500 piece is just to be able to have inputs to play navi, tv, vcr, playstation...etc on the stock navi display...

Honestly fellas this is a fairly decent deal. I paid $120 for my RGB-1 and another $100 to have it modified. that's $220 plus another $10 bucks for wires and a switch. That brings you to $230 add another $25 for the RF modulator and your sitting at $255. Lets give the extra features that weren't available on the RGB-1 a net worth of $45. That means that in order to recoop the time and expense for making an alternative you would be paying $200 per unit. If the unit were promised to sell in serious bulk quantities I am sure that price could come down another $100 bucks per unit, but that is not a guarantee.

BL^5 is totally right, we are MORE THAN WILLING to work a group buy which could significantly bring the price down depending on how many people are interested. We're NOT trying to rip anyone off AT ALL...just understand these pieces are brand new and cost us A LOT more than the pioneer piece did...that plus the added features of full color adjustments make the kit more expensive.

Re: another option

Just My Opinion... But many people here Trust the work of StreetEffectz more than others. I know they have done good by me, and will always get my business. They don't give your crap equipment, so you know its good work.

StreetEffectz - Does the 500 install include a switch to switch it back inforth from Navi to whatever else. Say I want to play dvds in my car. IF I go to you guys and get the setup will the dvd player in the trunk play dvds right away after setup or will i need a seperate dvd player unit to play dvds. I am completely stupid with the av electronics parts in my car. If it's hot outside and I have AC on and I am watching a movie will i be able to switch instantly to Nav screen to mess with the controls??? Just curious....

2nd Post and I like to join in this group buy, hopefully we can get a great deal on these, since we will still have to buy more components like a DVD player or a PS2 so we can enjoy it...
