I want to install an amp and sub to my 2004 Acura TSX and was wondering what I had to do with the Navigation System or with the installation.

 

the easiest way to do it is to get what is called a line out converter. you attach this to your rear 6x9 speakers. this will give you an output to send to an amp.

 

What kind of line out converter would I need to get. Also where would it attach to the 6x9's? and would this make the 6x9's silent and just have the sub? would the balance and fade still work? would the sub volume be controlled by the volume or by the bass control on the nav? where would the remote turn on wire be connected?

I had Audio Control in my 08 Accord EX-L/ Navi.

 

I'm thinking about getting the alpine pdx m6 and the alpine 12" type r sub I'm just not sure about the install on the TSX with Navigation.
