Inexpensive eBay AUX kits
I was on eBay looking for well known AUX kits and I came across these.
Has anyone tried these inexpensive AUX input kits? I assume they are a clone of the more expensive name brand kits...

On the 2G TL I do not think it uses M-Bus so I think his comment at the bottom of the listing is in error.

I would also be interested in anyone's experience with these products...
But honestly, I would definitely want to err on the side of quality than cost... I have purchased a cable from CableJive that works great in the home for converting an iPod dock to something I can use with my Android...but as soon as I put it in my car, there was a LOT of extraneous noise in the audio output (e.g., electronic buzzing, sizzle, feedback, etc...).
I will pay for something that actually works... That said, I don't want to pay any more than I have to for a quality solution... So if $30 does it...great... But if I need to spend $100 or more to get the quality I am looking for, I'll spend it...

Part of me wants to buy it just to reverse how it works. I'm in electrical engineering so this is fun for me. I bet I can diy one up with a microcontroller + a weekend of programming.
I'm betting none of the cables are shielded or twisted pairs. 30$ for the blue Honda plug lol?

I wanted a basic AUX input for my 02 TL-S and used that exact adapter and it worked perfectly! Plug it into the external CD changer port on the back of the radio, Hit CD twice in the head unit to turn it on, Done. No extra wiring. You can run the cable pretty much anywhere you want. To make my install a little cleaner, I used a dash mountable 3.5mm Input jack with it.

I have an 03 TL-S with Navi and OnStar and my radio DOES NOT have a place for this, I ordered the basic cable with an MBus connector on one end and RCA's on the other.... My factory radio has the 6 Disc in dash changer though so wouldn't see why it would even have a port for a changer. I however after my nav brain failed a few weeks ago have decided to rip out everything and put in a DDIN Navi/DVD/CD/MP3/Rear Camera etc... HU in and get rid of the stock JUNK. So problem solved but from what I've read as long as you have the adapter with the box and have a place to plug it in it should work, i'll pull the radio and make sure first though....
