I-Simple Install Questions ??
I-Simple Install Questions ??
Whats going on members, I came across this and wondering if this will work in my 2004 TSX with Navi, even though the application says Acura TSX 2005-2008, Acura radios require XM button for compatibility,....now my TSX does not have an XM button,....I know this will not work since I dont have an XM button but I could be wrong, so if anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it, I know this has probably been covered but the thread I found really didnt say anything about the XM button on the stock radio.
Thank you

I have a 2005 non-navigation with XM with the Isimple installed. The XM button plays a very important part of how you select the Ipod. If you don't have an XM button, then I am not sure that the Isimple will work.
When you press the XM button, the radio briefly shows you what was last selected - say "Ipod". If you want to switch to XM, then you turn the radio tuning knob and the display cycles through Ipod-XM-Aux1-Aux2. When you stop on the desired input, the Isimple switches to that device. Not having an XM button means that you don't have a way to select inputs.
