Will a Precision Power PC 2400 (2 channel, 400 watts) amplifier give two 12" Kicker L7s a clean sounding bass? I don't want it to hit really hard, I just want a lil more bass and for it to sound clean. Planning to keep my stock head unit and speakers because of the 6 disc in dash and I like the sound of BOSE.

 

Word I hear is that you need all the power you can get. My install manager says that a 400W amp "will do them no justice at all".

 

How about telling us about the box that you are going to put them in and what ohms are your speakers?

 

My install manager just did 2 years with a Kicker shop. He says that you want a sh!tload of power to these woofers, and 400 watts just ain't doing it.
