ok i got some speakers that i was soposed to put in a mercedes but i end up selling it so i never got to use them they are brand new in the box never used i would like to know if they will fit in a 05 tl with navi or did i just waste my $$$$

here's what i got.........

SPEAKERS

i was thinkin maybe i need one more sub ?

OK, I really like your amps.

Your speaks are smaller than you can use in your car, and better sound quality could be had by selling them and getting larger speakers - MBQ, or others.

I would also sell that sub and go with another company - JL? (since you have them anyway).

I don't know that anyone has firsthadn info on an 05 TL...anyone?

I'm guessing 6.5 in the door ain 6x9 in the rear deck, but that's just conjecture...

 

Here is the breakdown for the 05TL

6: 6.5in Speakers (4 doors + 2 in rear deck)
1: 4in Speaker (Center Channel)
and a stock sub

im pretty sure thats it. Do you have navigation?

i would recommend getting a JL Sub as well. What are you planning on doing? are you replacing the headunit as well?

 

i dont have the car yet i will be geting it with nav and no way i wont touch the head unit

 

alright that might be tricky then, i know one person who has done this type of upgrade on here, but i cant find his name. Maybe StreetEffectz can chime in here, how would you go about upgrading, ive heard its kinda tricky in the new TL's?

 

thanks for the info ....i did a little reasearch my self and i found out that the size is 6 1/2 's and 6x9 fit in the tl
