how do i take out the 6x9 grille......
i ply them open but I am only able to open the side that's furtherest from rear window.
I think there are two white screw type of thing in the trunk, however cannot get them off....

assuming white tab (screw) are those tabs right beside the speaker screw



well I can't edit

 

pinch in the 'open' sides of the white plastic clips from below and push them upward to release the grill.

then you can unscrew and remove the speakers themselves if you wish to.

 

The white "tabs" are not screws, they are clips. If you pull up hard enough on the grill the clips will release. You can aid that release by pinching the open sides together (under the rear deck) while you pull.
