How do I wire an Alpine CVA-1006 so I can view multimedia while driving?? Do I need this so-called "black-box" thats on sale on eBay?? Thanks in advance for any help.

Try to hard ground the parking brake wire (yellow/blue) by connect it to the vehicle chassis instead of connecting it to the parking brake wire.

If you take the yellow/blue wire to a ground position will you have to double pump the parking brake & hold in the foot brake OR will it automatically just 'work' when you turn on the stereo? I'm using a toggle switch right now but if all you gotta do is just ground that yello wwire then I'll do that instead of fooling around with that damn switch.

You should not have to double pump it. My only concern is what the parking brake gnd is at versus global gnd. But it should work fine.

It's global ground because the parking brake switch is just a SPDT switch that toggle between battery voltage and chassis ground.
