My girlfriend just got a new GS 430 and is now looking for subs. Her parents were going to get her subs as a present a while ago but were waiting for her to get her new car. Now that she has it she's ready for subs, but her parents are wondering how much the total cost will be, and I have no idea since JL audio doesnt seem to list prices on their site. Anyone know what a full install will run? oh yeah, for the 1000 watt amp from jl, unless someone has recommendations for another amp.

If u go to a authorized JL dealer heres the break down
W7 12" runs about $700
JL 1000/1 run $1000
A box made can run about $200.

wow how do u get a W7 10" for $200.00. I was just on Ebay lookin at woofers and say a 8W7 for $300.

 

I found a 12W7 on ebay for $500, seems to be a good deal. I was more wondering how much the box would cost, streeteffects said something like $500 for a box in another thread (I could be off on this amount), I thought that sounded rather high. I dont think she cares how it looks (ie: no need for neon and all that), she just wants loud bass.
