how do you have your wires ran?

well guys just got my 1/0 power wire in. currently I have my 4 gauge ran on the left side with remote. and on right I have the rca's on the right. the problem is there is almost no way to get this stuff tucked in the sides. I plan on keeping the 4 gauge for the neg from front to back batt which I will turn to 1/0 for ground when I gets more money. so maybe pull the seats and run it down the middle or maybe move the ground to the rt side with rca's and try to squeeze the 1/0 on the left. thoughts suggestions

In conduit under the car. On the driver's side, there's a plastic piece about 1-2' from the outside of the car that you can zip-tie conduit to. Get some of the gray exterior air conditioning conduit, feed the wire through, and zip-tie it to the plastic piece that covers the brake lines (i think).

I was actually happy with the ammount of room under the carpet down the drivers side. I tucked my 2 awg in there without any issues.

For ground, just attach it to the chassis. Just make sure you have a good connection to bare metal and you will be fine. I prefer to run bolts through for grounds on my own vehicle.

Good call with the - to -. I wish I had enough wire to do it. Wire running between the batts is going to be less resistance than running through the steel of the chassis.

I've seen it argued both ways and I'm not convinced that a separate run is best. Technically the chassis steel would be a much larger conductor than even the 1/0 awg wire. That is unless the welds within the chassis are poor which shouldn't be a problem. And of course you want to be sure your big three are done so there are no weak links in the chain. But a separate run could never hurt, except for maybe the wallet.

While this is true of 1 negative run, it is most certainly beneficial if you do multiple runs of negative to negative. For example, it was recommended in a thread on another forum about how to get the loudest Street A car in North America that one should do 7 runs of 1/0 for each power and ground. That is 14 total runs of 1/0 throughout the car. And this is for a car with 1 battery and 1 amp. Obviously this is stupid overkill for most daily applications, but the more wire you're able to run, the shorter/better the flow will be between the negative grounding posts of the less voltage drop you'll have over the distance. Less voltage drop means more power.

well I just ran the 1/0 power wire it actually wasn't that bad it fit on the left side where the 4 was. I'm just gonna have to take loose the back panel right at the seat to fit it in there and ill have to figure out where to run the 4 gauge on the right side through the fire wall. its pretty cramped there. so maybe ill run it through with with the 1/0 and just bring it behind the radio and all along the inside of fire wall to the right side.

yeah, i dunno why ppl think it won't fit under the carpet, it's super easy, and a lot of room
my 1/0 fit fine under there, you would probably even fit two runs down there and it would be fine, mine runs down the right side btw, so i might have more room there.
and did you say you were running a ground under the carpet, shouldn't you keep the ground cable as short as possible?
