HIR 9011 Highbeams on the way!
Well when I got my 2003 CL-S a couple months ago I was in for a major upgrade car-wise over my previous 1999 Mazda 626 ES-V6. The CL is surely faster, comfier, and well just overall nicer! However I unfortunately had to downgrade my lighting.
On the 626 I had a full Bi-Xenon FX35 projector retrofit, with a HID pnp DDM kit in some blazer projector fogs. I'm really missing the output of HID projectors the HID reflector setup on the acura is kinda crummy! I think long run I'm might have to retrofit in some TSX projectors! The nice thing about the CL-S is you don't have to make custom headlight housing lens .I may also grab some OEM fog lights in the near future and retrofit in some projectors.
But to start out I'm taking it slow and upgrading the high-beams only with some HIR 9011 Bulbs, should give approx +1000 lumens per bulb on the road.
I'll be sure to post some before and after pics here
