Might want to move this to audio/ video section. Some guys that have that type of answer don't look in this part of the forum. Might get you an answer a bit quicker.

check out any of the short shifter installs, they also remove the center console (if i'm reading correctly). just grab inside the shifter boot and pull up like crazy.

Step 1
Place one hand under the shift boot

Step 2
Place the thumb on the side of the console, right on the raised edge.

Step 3
Place your other hand or a few fingers under the shift boot if possible. Obviously, I have to hold the camera, so I can't show you the other hand.

Step 4
Place your other thumb right next to the first one for good leverage.

Step 5
With both thumbs resting on the raised edge of the console (side), use your fingers under the shift boot and lift up. Note : very importantly, only lift one corner at a time! By using the thumbs for leverage, you will have a very controlled lift of the console cover and not break anything.

Btw, once you have removed the front clips, the rear ones will come off easy.

Most important: Treat it like it's someone else's...

I added some tips on CC removal in the FAQ thread about adding an AUX source using SHOND... check it...

worth the cost? for brand new (bought from acura), of course not...

here is my mini review for far

1. the sound quality is better than i thought, thanks for tsx's 350watt..
2. even thought it's kenwood, it's not bad.
3. u know how when u turn off ignation and turn back on and if u had ur volume up high
it will go from minimal and increat it's way back up? well in mp3 mode that fuction is lost
so might get spooked by lound music if u dind't turn the vol down when u turn off the sterio
4. even at 128kbs (test cd was a back up mp3 cd i burned in 2000) quality is pretty good
at least good enough for me

No problem on the instructions Neo...I'm glad it worked...You should thank Articcl9. I think that's his website.

Sounds like you're all done. Congrats man. I wanna see those pics!

ok just reazlied this while driving my car

the auto level thing works in aux.. however because it takes longer for the player
to read mp3 than normal cd's so by the time it reads the music, the level has
already been increased to the last setting
