if anything your dealer should be able to get it for you for free.

if the 1-6 didnt work, youll have to get the serial number off of the radio. whether you want to rip it out or get the dealer to is up to you. i know we charge a 90$ diagnostic fee for stuff like that at honda. double check to see if the white sticker is in the glove box or driver door jam

you dont need to take the radio out or even the serial number of the radio. ive had to get the radio code for both my tl and el and my moms accord. i just called a dealer, any accura dealer and they ask for your VIN and they looked it up and they tell you the code right away.

^not true. wherever the vehicle has been serviced at or sold at...they will have the code.

you said you called several dealerships...you need to call the one that they sold the car from. or contact previous owner.

i am not sure who the previous owner is or the dealership it came from i brought the car on saturday from a used car dealership they change the battery and radio had been asking for code since. i am being told the radio had to be taken out to get the sn then the code could be retrieved. they say i will be charged 1 hr of labor to get the radio out. i am trying to work around that.

Radio Code

I have a 2000 Acura TL. There should be a sticker on the side of the glove box. There should be a 5 digit # and then a letter and 8 digit #. The 5 digit # is the unlock code
