Help with Icelink

Hey all, just got the Denison Icelink to link my Ipod to my TSX. Pulled out the nav unit to hook it up and there is already a plug connected to where the Icelink should connect. The instructions say that if I don't have the XM or MP3 player (which I don't) then the connector should be available. Anybody know what that connector is for and if I can disconnect it?

Do you have the overhead video system?

nope, no add ons

I got brave and unplugged the existing cable and hooked up the icelink. Icelink works fine but I have no nav controls. No touch screen, no buttons directly under the screen. What gives!

I have contacted Denison about the issue since their site mentions nothing about the unit not working with nav. If you guys have any ideas let me know since I doubt Denison will be much help.

You have the nav system, and have to do some work to use the IceLink. However, the new version of the IceLink is a bit different than the old documented versions. Would you mind taking some pictures? Then perhaps we can help you.

I should add, the Dension website does mention this issue:

Dension Knowledge Base

Just so you know if you do contact them.
