Can anyone get me a reference level headunit at a good price? I am looking at something along the lines of

Alpine 7990
Denon DCT-Z1
Nakamichi CD-700

etc.

This is the final piece of my system and I need one ASAP!

Denon has always made nice product and so has alpine, but Ive never heard of Nakamichi.

 

nak makes very high quality products... the only thing is usually there styling is very plan..... and a little on the expensive side....

 

Nakamichi is a very good unit. They are very expensive as well. Here is thier website. I believe Lexus used to come with Nakimichi before Mark Levinson.

yes, i bought a 10" ppi flat piston sub and a ppi amp from them. no complaints so far...i dont know how they are with customers because i havn't had any problems with what i purchased (knock on wood)
