Headunit install

I have a 99 2.3CL (no bose). I want a better headunit that doesnt skip as much. If I order one online will they send me a new wiring harness that matches my car? Or will I even need a new harness? I have heard about some people talking about bypassing stock amp...I dont need to do that right, b/c I dont have bose? Will this install be easy...like snap a new harness in and plug stuff back in (no splicing or nething like that)?

Also, do most aftermarket HU come with remote wire spots in the back of them??

Thanks for all the help!

new head units defiantely have remote outs on them...buy a metra harness for the aftermarket head unit then, connect the harness to the head unit, then its simply plug and play, antenna/harness/rca/remote...

sure that would be perfect, you might even want to look for a fitting kit for the headunit, unless you can figure out how to attach the bottom storage container to the headunit. my custom install invovled electrical tape, worked perfect.

Thanks for the help! They gave me a fitting kit with the HU, however they gave me the 98 and up harness and that didnt work...so I am taking it back tomarrow and exchanging it for the 97 one. Thanks again for the help!

the wiring harness is the same in almost all hondas and acuras. With a few exceptions. Mounting is tricky, i used linked pull ties, to attach the storage unit.

Where in virginia are u?
