Has anyone tried the Alpine SPS-600's?

After reading the Alpine Speaker replacement thread i wanted to replace my stock speakers in my TSX with the SPS-17C2's However when they became hard to find i called Alpine and found out that they have replaced by the SPS-600..... Spec wise the SPS-17C2 were better.

Has anyone installed them? How do they sound? How is the fit?

Thanks for any help.

The alpine type s speakers are great for a replacement speaker. They do not need to be amplified to sound great. However the do not perform well with a 50watt+ amplifier if the gains are turned up.
