Sorry if this been discussed before.
I just hardwired Valentine 1 into the TSX. Just above the mirror, on the right side of the plastic holder for wires for the mirror. There are two bolts in the eyeglasses holder, and two screws behind dome light lenses. These lenses have to be pried out, go gently surrounding plastic is quite soft. Once the light unit drops down, I removed insulation from mirror power supply wires. I used tap splices for 18-22 gauge wires (from Home Depot), taped into power wire (black/yellow) and ground wire (black/white). I then taped all together and ran this wire inside that plastic wire holder (slides right off). looks nice and works great.

 

No pics ? I though about moutning my Escort 8500 up there but just can't decide if I like the look.
