I don't know why you would need a GLI before the line driver.

I think it should be like this:
head unit --->SNHOND3 ---> GLI ---> line amp ---> audio switcher --> roady & Ipod.

thanks guys.
when i got everything hooked up, they tried it with one gli and there was a good bit of engine whine still. once they put the second one in, all gone.

now here's a question: since the roady is hardwired, if i get the switcher, i won't lose any sound quality with the ipod, will i?

can anyone recommend a switcher...maybe with a link?

You dont need a GLI at all if you use the iceLink with your iPod. The iceLink includes the SNHOND adapter and an iPod hookup that hooks up to the bottom of the iPod to get the music, charge the ipod, and send the steering wheel track navigation commands to the ipod. I installed one and it was simple and sounds awesome. IF you want another thing hooked up, you can use the Y splitters for teh RCA cables to those items. YOu only need a GLI if you are then going to hook up that other thing to the cars power supply. IF you are only using an ipod, just get icelink and you are done. Thats what I did for my 04 TSX. Let me know if you have questions.
