Is it possible to hardwire an Escort radar detector by using the plug. I was thinking about cutting the ac plug off and hardwiring... Is it possible to connect it to a fuse with bare wires or would I have to by something to connect the wires to the fuse...

So all I have to do is take the fuse and and stuff the wires underneath and put the fuse back in... Would that interfere with the power to either the radar detector or whatever fuse i plug it into...

What fuse should I use...

 

just use a fuse that comes on with Acc, and yes you can just stick the wire under there it doesn't matter.

You might need a tester. or just trial and error. most of the fuses come on with acc.
