Hamburgers and Beer......

...........those are my two favorite things other than cars and music.

I don't normally post my own work on here because I do this shit everyday. However, I've had the pleasure of working with some of the most beautiful car audio gear. The pictures below are from a job that I just finished.

Most of you that know a little about me know that I'm a car audio purist. Keep it simple! I hate equalizers, huge subwoofers and tiny amps. I love older high dollar product. Phoenix Gold, MB Quart, Soundstream, Kicker, Orion, JL Audio, etc....

Anywho.... I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow AZ member and installing some of his buried treasure into his recently aquired 2003 Acura TL-S. Behold.....

This man spent about $1500 just in cables and interconnects. This is one of the best sounding cars that's ever rolled out of here. MB Quarts fronts and sub. Soundstream amps. AVIC-D3 with all the fixins.

Your feedback is welcome.

Is there another way? Full functionality. Everything works. Except that flying saucer that I removed from the middle of the back deck. I'm not sure what that did before.

Those look like audison wires, did I get it right?

Over 1500$ in wires, but no sound dampening? What gives!
Very clean install! good job!

We started with all Monster Pro Series RCA cables but they let in too much noise on the 4 cha. Ended up changing to a 4 channel Monster Micro XLN cable on that one amp.

Sound deadening you say? If you can see it then I didn't do my job right. There is not a single rattle or shimmy in that car.

I love your work uncald4, but sorry to be a thread jacker. I had a question for you about the stock sub amp if you know anything about it. I hooked my remote turn on wire to the blue wire on the stock amp on the rear seats according to the diagram on one of the other postings, but for some reason, after i pull the key out, the power still goes to the amp. what i have to is manually switch it off because if i dont and leave it for more then 1-2 days, my battery will totally drain out. I was wondering if there is another way of hooking it up, like running it from some other wire?

I've always run my remote turn on wires from the deck. The wires back at that amp change color once they hit the BOSE amplifier harness. It changes from Honda wire colors to BOSE wire colors. You'll want to grab your remote turn on wire before it plugs into that BOSE harness. You've probably got the wrong blue wire. You'd have a much easier time if you made friends with a multimeter.

So technically speaking, i could take a mutimeter and hook it up to the wires on the the bose harness and see which one drops in voltage right? If so, multimeter, here i come!
