Full-Range 6x9's

Looking for some advice... I've got a 12" SSA ICON sub in my trunk and I'm looking to upgrade the speakers because the stock speakers simply can't keep up with my sub and just get drowned out. I was wondering if anyone has tried to rewire the rear doors to the rear deck and install full-range 6x9's? The stage for the rear-deck is great and would be a much better use of aftermarket speakers than the rear doors...thoughts?

i was thinking about doing the same but it would just steal power from the door speakers. I am planning on adding a interior amp to my interior. I've search and search but it seems like all the postings were deleted. anyone has diy?

This. I haven't had rear speakers in my CL in almost 2 years, and I don't plan on going back to any. There's really no point to have them. You want all the highs sound to be coming from in front of you, not behind you.
