dammit....i think the one sub i have in my car now..after the other one blew...just blew..doesn tmove at all...and i dont understand the problem...the last time i used my car it worked fine....take the car out today, turn on the radio..and nothing...i dont even play music loud since my mom is always in the car...argh...waht am i doing wrong..or do i just have 2 malfunctioning subs

 

Check the voice coils with an ohmmeter and tell us what they read. OL or infinity means..........toast.

Do you EVER play your system with the car not running? If so, that could be your problem. The battery runs out of juice and your amp plays into a dead short. I just got my IDMAX back from repair from doing that. Live and learn.......... Cost me $85 to get it repaired.

I'm going to upgrade my battery and probably have my alternator rewound to produce the amperage required to provide the power my 1500W system requires.

no..i never play with my system while the car is off...85 dollars doesnt seem too bad for a repair...hopefully thats all it'll need...or hopefully warentee will cover it... the voice coil thing..thtas what happened to my other sub...its being fixed now...

hmm..so if the amp plays into a short..it blows the sub...maybe httas my problem...perhaps the battery in my trunk isnt chargeing right...oh well...

btw...they were great help when my other sub went...the best thing i ever did for my system was get it instaled by them...just in case anyones loking for a place to get there system put in...

 

dude that sucks. I have a friend with two L7s and he blew them many times. Actually I ahve alot of friend who blow L7. I personally still lvoe the L7 and nver had a problem with it. So wanna buy a W7 with a ported box.

man that sucks...i didnt realize the L7 was such crap...i have freinds who spent way less then i did and have no problems...how much for the w7?

 

$750 with shipping and a week old ported box.
