Final answer is?

I have read posts about adding an aftermarkrt amp to the door speakers until
I'm blue in the face!!!! Is there a real answer to how to do this? Does anyone have a set up that is trouble free and easy for a shop to do? There are no real good shops in my area so I need to keep it as simple as possible for them not to
screw up my baby. I want to add a JL 300/4 but I'm still not convinced that it can
be done with out problems. Anyone with experience please chime in!

I have an 06 tsx w/ nav and from dealing w/ auto shops and not getting good results, I installed a complete system to my factory stereo. First of all, a JL cleansweep will do nothing for you. In the TSX (nav or no nav), the factory stereo has no preset sound output. so basically the wires from your stereo to your factory amp are the same as any aftermarket pre amp outputs (minus the rca plugs). To do things right all you have to do unplug the wires to your factory amp and wire them into rca plugs to run to your aftermarket 4 channle amp. It is actually a simple process in which you will only have to buy rca connectors ($5) and rca cables. If you use quick splices (I did) you can always put everything back to factory if you get another TSX. I can help more if this is the answer you're looking.

ElD swears no cleansweep is necessary in a TSX. Take it fwiw.

yea I,ve read that post along with all of the others. All of them seem to have problems with one thing or another. I just upgraded my sub to a JL12w3v2
and now feel that I need to amp my door speakers to keep up with the bass.
If there is a solution with minimal problems thats what I'm looking for. Like I said before I have zero faith in the install shops around me.
