im about to put my stereo system from my other car into my cls. iv got an alpine iva-c800 and the in dash dvd player. im gonna put both in the dash but i'm sure you have noticed that our car doesn't have the normal double din. i can have a plate of some sort made and would like some suggestions. but if anyone knows of any company that makes an nice plate for our cars could you please post some info. thanks.

I have spoken with metra and schoshe (two large companies that make aftermarket face kits) and both have said that they will have something later in the year but nothing right now. If you need this right now I would probabley go to a custom car audio shop and have them make one for you.

From what I am aware of NO company is making a dashkit or wire harness for the CL at this time. Be careful when asking because they might think that you are refering to a 97-99 model CL and not a 2001. I used to sell car audio for 3+ years so I am pretty familiar with installations too.

I have tried the new acura harness from metra, and it is standardized because it fits 01 cl as well as new integras, and i am sure others, but as far as a kit, your going to have to make one....... for now

The guy that built mine has all of the specs documented and is willing to make more of them and ship them out to you. He can make them single or double din depending on your setup and they look killer.

I'm looking for a dash kit for a double din setup too, since I want to move my head unit from my old accord over and then add a in dash dvd player in the future, I hear that the new Acura wiring harnesses will work with our CL's
