My Alpine ERE-G180 bought on ebay didn't come with a trim ring. It fits into the hole I used for the THREE.1 but there are visible gaps on the top and bottom.

Any ideas how to remedy this? I'm toying around with a couple but I want to see if someone can throw something new my way.

well you could always call alpine and see if they have a trim ring for it... or maybe use some body filler and fill in the gaps and then paint the whole kit ...

 

You can send me your kit and I can put my PA2 and HU in it And you can make your black wood dash like 2002AcuraTL.

My PA2 is 1in x 6 15/16 with trimmable faceplate to bring it down to the 6.75 that your three.1 is.
