Engine noise all of a sudden

Hi everyone. I've had a system installed on my 04 TSX for about a year and there was no engine noise at all before, but now I get the high pitched noise that gets louder as I rev harder. I know there are some solutions out there, but how can the noise all of a sudden just appear? I've checked all my connections and they all seem to be fine. I know it's definately coming from the head unit, because when I pull out the RCA's on my amp the noise goes away.

Which GLI is everyone using these days to get rid of this noise?

I just had the A4300 JL Amp and a 10W1V24 (4 omh) this past weekend and mine does the same thing!

Anyone in the know? Other than the annoying buzz/whirring, the sound goes in and out slightly.....how depressing as I was really looking forward to upgrading and now it seems you spend all this money for something worse.

How did you connect your HU to the amp? Did you do the conversion requiring you to connect RCA female heads on your stock wiring?

I did the conversion and tapped into my stock HU wires to make female RCA cables.

sounds like a connection got loose somewhere, most likely a signal ground on one of the rcas.....is it noisy in all of the speakers???......can u unplug them from the amp one at a time and see if any are significantly noisier than the others???

Good point. I only notice it from my speakers on the left, I guess I'll check the RCA connections on that side.
