Hi! Does anyone know where i can get a Blank DVD+R with around 8.0 Gig Disk space in it? The only thing is my friend's copier only plays DVD+R or DVD+RW format.
I am trying to copy my friend's updated version of the DVD/Navi Disk for the Navi System on my pioneer AVIC-9DVD System.

Any suggestions?

your not going to find a dvd+r with 8g... well maybe you might but it would be two sided meaning there is still only 4.7g.... the dvd that the navi update is written on is a dual layered dvd like the dvd movies you buy in the store.... the only suggestion i can give you is to try to use the same method that people use to copy dvd movies and rip all the data off the disk then try to split it onto 2 disk.... and then you can change disk depending on where you are in the contry...... here are a couple web sites that will show you how to copy movies maybe they can help you attempt to copy the navi update.....

I have been hearing about the double sided disk that has around 9.0 gig capacity, now his DVD burner can copy DVD+R and DVD+RW disk, as far as he mentioned.
He has the Philips PC DVD Burner 28R if i am not mistaken.

So, i checked his Pioneer DVD/Navi Disk and it says DVD-ROM, so what kind of DVD blank disk do you suggest i buy and what are the steps to copy this type of DVD disk?
