Ok, so like the title says.. I bought a 2din, bought a 2din install kit on ebay.. however, I went to install but guess what.. it literally won't fit... 2 din was loose and the kit did absolutely nothing.. So is there a secret or a specific kit that is good?
The kit was (it says in manual) for a 97-99 Acura Cl.. (i'm not completely retarded )

Any help would be cool guys, I searched the forum but I couldn't come up with anythingthanks ahead of time

 

Weird, I mounted an after market single DIN stereo with the stock pocket and it fit perfectly without a kit (used the bracing off the bottom of a single din kit from crutchfield that was ugly as hell so I just stole the mount and went with the factory pocket). Also, mounted an OEM acura navi from a TL and it fit perfectly so I'm not sure you need one.

post pics cuz ive done them before with no issue. the kits are a little flimsy because they are thin but they mount well

 

Metra 95-7801 double din kit. Fitment is not perfect, I ended up hot-gluing the trim onto mine when I had the CL.
