Is it possible to install 61/2" Type R components in a 99 TL???
I can get some cheap, but I keep hearing the magnets are to big for the doors. Is this true? I 've asked this question b4 but never got an answer so I'm asking again...
If anyone has done this or any other deep speaker let me know... THX!!!

i know this dont help, but i got 6 1/2 infinity on my front doors and rear deck on my 04tl

 

I tried that... they recommend 5 1/4 all around in the TL. I know I can go bigger than that. How do you like your Infinity's?

 

My neighbor put Type-R's in his Accord Coupe and hte bottom buldges out quite a bit, don't know if that helps though

 

So he couldn't put his door panel back on... do you know if he used a spacer or not?

 

he got it installed by a shop. I have a feeling they didnt use spacers though, but i'm not sure
