Door rattle Query

Excuse the long post.
(1) After looking at the great pictures of the speaker installation I have a question for those who have replaced their door speakers - is the door rattle gone. I've installed many stereo speakers in many different types of cars in the past and would never use a clip instead of a scew to mount a speaker and would always use four mounting points. While making a factory speaker install quicker (and cheaper as time is money and three mounting points are probably cheaper than four) honda has allowed the speaker frame to distort to the point of causing a rattle. That clip (or clips) is not going to firmly hold that speaker frame against the door frame so as to be flush and firm under all conditions and temperatures. Cars flex as they drive down the road. And the use of only three mounting points only makes the problem worse. Has anyone cured their rattles by trying to remount the stock speaker the old fashioned way - four sheet metal screws securely and squarely anchoring metal to metal? And that clip on mount - anyone who has built a speaker from a kit or from scratch would scoff at the thought of anchoring a vibrating piece of metal with a clip - and a cheap one at that. Besides, every mechanic knows that clips eventualy loosen due to vibration and gee what does a speaker always do? Especially when played loud with extended bass. I've had speakers "buzz" in the past and the cause was usually due to an improper mounting of the speaker frame to the door. Look I applaud the use of some clips to make itn easy to r and r panels and such but a speaker? What were they thinking?
(2) Another alternative could be to use some old fashioned "bass blockers" wired to the offending door speakers. Has anyone tried this? As long as the back speakers produce full bass it won't be missing from the mix and because base notes are not highly directional one would be hardpressed to tell they are only coming from the rear speakers. Thus the soundstage should be preserved. Of course the best course would be to rip the speakers out, use a speaker extension (with four screw mounts) and securely affix it to the door. Comments?
